In 1998 the signing of the Good Friday/Belfast peace Agreement brought an end to an epoch of socio-political conflict in Northern Ireland with the loss of 4000 lives. This period of Northern Irish history was referred to as "The Troubles".

With a recent resurgence in terrorist activity in Northern Ireland, Adair produced this series of work showcasing fragments from the past, dismissed text and images from those who died, killed, maimed, orphaned and suffered during the Troubles.
